Go back to the 11th century and watch an authentic re-enactment of a jousting tournament inside a real castle and feast on a four-course meal. At Medieval Times, attendees dine in an arena and watch knights compete in a two-hour long jousting tournament and festival, complete with authentic weaponry, live action special effects and audience participation.

Adult ticket prices are $49.95 and kids tickets are $39.95, and this includes the four-course meal and show. The meal consists of garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, spare rib, herb-basted potatoes, and a pastry of the Castle, coffee and two rounds of select beverages. There’s a full-service bar and dance floor for adults and there’s also a vegetarian meal option. After the feast, check out the museum of Medieval artifacts, and if you can stomach it, the Medieval torture museum. 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville. 1-888-WE-JOUST. www.medievaltimes.com.
