Put on your running shoes, the 11th annual Tour deCatur 5K road race and 1-mile fun run is Saturday. Online registration is closed, but you can register in person Friday at Fleet Feet Decatur from 5-8 p.m. or on the day of the race beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the Decatur High School cafeteria. Get those train-loving boys and girls together for the Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History’s 10th anniversary celebration Saturday 4-7 p.m. There will be the rare opportunity to climb aboard the locomotive made famous during the Great Locomotive Chase of the Civil War. Little bunnies will be searching for colored eggs Saturday at the Decatur Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter bunny arrives at 10:30 a.m. and the hunt begins at 11 a.m. Don’t be late, it’s a very important date (and note that it’s not being held on the Square again this year)! Farmer Sue from the Art Barn at Morning Glory Farms is bringing her animals to Farm Day at the Chattahoochee Nature Center Sunday. There will be geese, goats, sheep, chicks and bunnies to touch and brush. Other activities include crafts, story time and a chance to have your photo made holding a chicken!
