Now this is dinner and a movie at the Movie Tavern

Enjoy dinner and a movie (and maybe a few beverages) at the Movie Tavern, where “movies never tasted so good.” Ticket prices are cheap — a matinee is $6 and evening shows are $7.50. And whatever you choose from the menu will be delivered to your comfortable seat where there’s lots of table room and optimal viewing from any seat in the house.

There’s a kids’ menu, where everything is under $5. The rest of the menu offers a variety: burgers, salads, wraps, wings and even Mexican food. Of course, there’s the usual movie theater haunts: popcorn and candy. Adults, if you’re feeling bold, try the “tanker,” a beer stein that holds the equivalent of 2½ beers. Take this beast home and bring it back for refills at a discounted price. Domestic beer refills are $7 and premium refills are $9. For the frozen drink lovers, the “Blue Thing” wine margarita is $5.25. For the kiddies, milkshakes are only $3.75. 4043 LaVista Road, Tucker. 678-680-5782. www.movietavern.com.
