Guitar pick necklace for music lovers

If there’s a music lover or guitarist in your life, this easy craft will provide a gift they’ll love and wear proudly.

Supplies:
Guitar picks
Needle
Lighter
Jump rings
Necklace

Steps:

  1. Place the guitar pick on a board or another surface that you don’t mind damaging.
  2. Heat the sharp end of the needle with the lighter and touch to top center of the guitar pick to make a hole (it may help to dot with a marker where you’d like to make the hole).
  3. Repeat with as many guitar picks as you wish to put on a necklace. Let them cool.
  4. Slide a jump ring through the hole and place on necklace.

I’ve used a chain-type necklace bought from an arts and crafts store and spaced the picks out along the necklace, as well as used a single pick on a regular chain.

The picks also could be made into matching earrings.
