Dining Out

Holy queso, kids!

This site has been home to so many restaurants over the years, let’s hope Holy Taco is here to stay. The food is creative, but still kid-friendly with options for tacos and quesadillas. Quesadillas can be made with chicken, shrimp, steak, veggies or just Monterey jack cheese and queso fresco.

Plantains and guac make a good appetizer. The queso appetizer is tangy with a chile kick, and the chips are homemade heaven. For the older “kids,” the drinks are strong, and on any given weekend afternoon, the huge patio is filled with families.

The dining room is spacious and airy, and the bar tempts you with tons of tequilas especiales as well as favorite bottled and draught beer.
