Want to encourage your young ones to bite into science and history? Spend some time on Discovery.com and tune in to a boggling array of interactive content, powered by the site’s massive archive of information on subjects such as dinosaurs, Egypt, Everest, food, sharks and technology.

Don’t miss the News tab, offering video, articles and breaking news about archeology, history, humans, space, and more — another way to bring science and history alive to kids in fun, engaging portions.

If you like Discovery’s Mythbusters (my 5-year-old is a diehard), the fanpage is a great place for parents and kids to play, with a ton of cool science-related information and interactive goodies. Take a “Myth or Fact” quiz or spend way too much time on the Multiangle Video Player, reliving favorite explosions and experiments.

The network’s shows are cool, but the site may be even better!
