Catch up on your reading while enjoying one of the in-house brews offered at Twain’s Billiard and Tap. Mark Twain would be proud, as the walls are lined with pages of his greatest works and the beers get their names from his popular quotes (like “Heaven for Climate Golden Ale”). The décor is warm and comfortable, with an all-American feel, much like the author himself.

A huge patio offers a nice change of pace from the ruckus inside coming from the dart players and shuffleboard gamers. Children play the “ancient game of shuffle” or video games while the multiple pool tables in the back offer adult fun. Little ones’ menus are taped inside the front cover of a children’s book to complete the tasty experience.

But parents be aware: When the clock creeps past 9 p.m., it’s 21 and older only!
